This is the best Suya I have had in Lagos. I think it's better than Glover Court's Suya. It typically takes an average of 10 - 15 minutes to get your Suya and the suya is affordable. Note that the Suya pepper is pretty pricey, I spent 5k on a small ziplock bag of suya pepper.
I ordered cupcakes from HalwaBakers for a friend's birthday in Abuja. I don't live in Abuja, so HalwaBakers made the cake, (the cupcakes were beautiful) purchased and filled out a birthday card, and delivered it to my friend on her birthday. I didn't even speak to them, everything was done through Instagram DM. They are very professional and responsive. I definitely recommend them.
I haven't had the opportunity to use Karen yet (I will though) but I have a lot of friends that have, as such I have seen her work, she is really good. Everyone I know that has used her services has positive things to say.
I stayed here for a week a few years ago, I had a great experience. They also have a pretty good roof top bar with live music.
I purchased green silk fabric from Itunu for a naming ceremony and I was very happy with it. The customer service at her store was great, additionally a tailor at her store helped me sew iro and buba with the fabric.
I love Glover Court's Suya, they are definitely one of the best Suya spots in Lagos. It is my #2 go to place for Suya.
I love the place, it's a one stop shop for all your food needs! They have asun, Jollof frice, plantains, everything really. Their customer service is also pretty good.
It's beautiful! It is definitively a "must see" in Lagos. The Jollof rice was amazing! The chicken suya and beef suya were also really good. Their Jerk chicken wasn't great though. The service was excellent. We sat outside. There is a completely different menu if you choose to dine inside. It cost us an average of 8k per person (with drinks)
James!!! He is amazing and talented. He made my traditional wedding attire, my wedding reception dress, veil and rehearsal dinner dress– they were all perfect! Everything came out better than I had imagined. His customer service is excellent as well; he always picks up his phone and is very amiable. Selecting him is one of the best decisions I made for my wedding(s).
Kabby did an amazing job with my asooke for my wedding - her beading/stoning was perfect. Her customer service was great as well; she was very responsive via what’s app and was very pleasant to work with.
My traditional wedding make up was perfect, thanks to Labisi and her team. Labisi is talented and very pleasant. Labisi's assistant (I believe her name is Solape) was amazing! I spoke to her multiple times, she was very organized and professional. Selecting Labisi was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding.
Kabby did an amazing job with the asooke for my wedding - her beading/stoning was perfect. Her customer service was great as well; she was very responsive via WhatsApp and was very pleasant to work with. I definitely recommend her.
TWC Events did an amazing Job! MrsK went above and beyond. Weddings can get stressful and having a planner that is concerned about your personal well-being is an asset. She was very organized and did a great job coordinating all the vendors. She also did a post wedding follow up to ensure that she met our expectations.
My accessories for my second traditional wedding outfit and both earrings that I used for my white wedding were provided by Stylebymiztique. They were all beautiful, I got so many compliments on all of them. My necklace and earring set came in a beautiful maroon jewelry box and the other earrings came in beautiful pouches. They sell high quality affordable jewelry, and their customer service is top-notch.
The “How Nigerian Are You?” game is a super fun game on Nigeria’s history, entertainment and riddles. It is definitely a must have at any Nigerian event. Enjoy!
I love this place! The agbalumo gelato was great.
Nike Art Gallery has some of the most amazing Pieces of African Artwork. Great customer service too!
I ate here with a friend a few years ago, it took almost an hour to get my food, but the food was pretty good.
I have seen her beaded aso-oke multiple times, they look amazing! She is great at what she does and she is very polite. However, her response time via what's app is pretty slow, she committed to sending me her prices by a certain date and she didn't meet that deadline, I had to reach out to her multiple times post the deadline she set to get it, it took almost 2 weeks to receive a quote from her, hence the 4 stars.
Pretty good food.
Amazing grilled fish! It's open 24 hours and it's by the water. The service was pretty poor though, as the staff was overwhelmed, they didn't have enough waiters/waitresses to cover all guests in an organized and timely manner.
I went with a group of friends to Hardrock a few weeks ago, the service was actually pretty good,, the DJ was really good and the toilet was clean. I ordered a Mojito, it tasted a little different from what I'm used to but it wasn't bad.
Bola was very pleasant to work with over the phone and via WhatsApp, I never met her in person. My traditional wedding décor was nice as well, although the couple’s section was completely different than what we agreed to.
They did an amazing job with my wedding cake. They were very professional both via email and over the phone. However, my wedding cake was delivered over 3 hours late though and had to be brought in when all the guests were already present.
GTB is a pretty decent bank. I use their online banking services very often and I haven't had any issues so far. I have been to a physical location twice and the lines were super long both times, they need to have a better and more efficient customer service process.
A busy market with numerous merchants that sell a wide variety of items that showcase local talent, from paintings, African print purses, beads, metal work, etc. Prices are reasonable but make sure you negotiate to ensure that you are getting the best deal. Parking is an issue here.
The Shoprite in Lekki phase 1 is very decent. I love their bread. They have a wide variety of grocery, household and beauty items. Traffic getting in and out of here can be pretty bad though
I attended this in 2015, the food was pretty good (long lines though) and it was a great way to catch up with friends. I wouldn't go again though.
I ate here about 2 years ago. The food was pretty good. The service wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. I remember that the prices were reasonable, but its probably slightly more expensive now.
I bought and used her Yajichurri sauce over a year ago and it was just okay, I was expecting a lot more. I used it with chicken and jollof rice.
It's a pretty decent fast food restaurant. They have a good variety of food options.
I was hungry at the Lagos airport and decided to get some KFC - the chicken tasted good, the staff was pretty friendly, and the restaurant was clean.....no complaints.
He is really good. Based on his portfolio online, he does natural looking make up, which I like. However, he isn't responsive to potential clients. I have contacted him multiple times through various channels (email, Instagram, phone call) but no response, hence my 3 stars and low professionalism rating.
Long wait time and a pretty inefficient process.
